We do not recommend, arrange, market or sell any financial product, and we do not act as a financial services provider or intermediary.
Nothing on this website — including any calculator result, article, interpretation, comparison or explanation — constitutes financial, tax, legal or investment advice, a recommendation, an insurance quotation, or an offer to provide any financial product or service.

Each calculator on this website is an educational illustration that responds to the assumptions you enter. The limitations below apply to all of them, and specific limitations apply to each calculator.
This calculator provides an educational illustration based on the information and assumptions you enter. It is not financial advice, an insurance recommendation or an insurance quote. It does not assess policy eligibility, exclusions, underwriting, tax implications, future inflation or the suitability of any financial product. Actual needs and insurance benefits may differ.
The calculator produces an undiscounted estimate of income replacement by multiplying monthly income by twelve and by the number of years you select. It does not discount future income to present value, estimate tax effects, account for inflation or evaluate investment returns. It also does not automatically count retirement funds, property equity or any other asset that may not be available when needed — this is why you are asked to enter only the resources you consider relevant.
Where the resources you enter equal or exceed the estimated need, the calculator shows a surplus relative to your assumptions. That outcome is not proof that you hold sufficient insurance cover, and it is not a statement that any particular level of cover is adequate. Real-world needs depend on factors this tool does not model.
This calculator provides hypothetical illustrations, not predictions or guarantees of investment performance. Actual returns can be negative and may differ substantially from the assumptions entered. The illustration does not account for investment fees, taxes, product charges, transaction costs or changes in contribution timing. Inflation-adjusted values are estimates, and the calculator does not recommend any investment product.
The nominal growth rate used is a hypothetical assumption that you select. It is not a forecast, an expectation of return, or a representation of what any investment has achieved or will achieve. Negative rates are permitted so that you can explore downside scenarios.
The illustration runs as a monthly simulation, with growth applied to the balance and contributions added at month-end, and any annual contribution increase applied once at the start of each new investment year after the first. Where several hypothetical rates are shown for comparison, none of them is more likely, better or more suitable than another; they simply illustrate how sensitive a result is to the rate you assume.
Inflation-adjusted values express the final balance in today's money using the inflation rate you enter. They are estimates only and do not represent the actual future purchasing power of any amount.
The enquiry form is a request for information. It is not a financial needs analysis, a suitability assessment or a product recommendation tool, and submitting it does not create a financial advice relationship of any kind.
